Update Time In the MP

Does anyone know if you can update the time in the management processor?

Re: Update Time In the MP

Here is the help from an rx6600 cm>date command. Note the cannot be modified comment.

DATE : Display Date

Command access level: Login access.

This command displays the date as known to MP.
MP clock will be updated from the BMC/SFW and cannot be modified.

Command line usage:
DATE [ -nc ]

Re: Update Time In the MP

It depends on the server model.

This is from a partitionable server (rp7420):

MP:CM> date

This command sets the date and time on the MP.

Current date is: 12/19/2007
Do you want to modify it? (Y/[N])
...

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Update Time In the MP

As in Tim's case, rx5670, I can only display it and it is in UTC.
