ASP Web Application from IIS 5.0 and IIS 6.0 problems on Win2003

I enabled IIS 6.0 on a Windows 2003 server. I then proceeded to install an ASP web application that use to run on IIS 5.0. on windows 2000. During the installation, I receive an error message indicating that IIS 6.0 should be reinstalled and the installation fails. How can I get this web application to run on IIS 6.0 on Win2003?
