I was receiving an error message stating "internet explorer has caused an error and will now close", mainly when trying to update my website or reply to an email. After days of trying to fix this, I tracked it down to the modname:superbar.dll. This dll was created the same day my DSL was activated, although my DSL service says that no software was installed on my computer from them. I am not sure where it came from, but I went in to search program files and found this "superbar". After I deleted it and all it's files within my computer, my problem was solved. Just wanted to post this in case someone else comes up with the same problem!!!
