3com website is buggy
3com successfully avoids client contact
It's impossible to subscribe at
http://esupport.3com.com/eserviceLDAP_enu/start.swe
The cryptic answer is this one:
http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/5979/3comwwwbuginformhandler.png
Why?
Is it so difficult to program a proper formhandler?

Re: 3com website is buggy
AFAIK that site has been discontinued. All of the 3Com support content has been migrated to the My Networking Portal

Re: 3com website is buggy
Thanks a lot, Andy!
Wouldn't it be wise, to mention that there, and take that online form away?

Re: 3com website is buggy
I can't see the form you're referring to. When I go to the first link you provided - it redirects me to the support lookup tool.

Hi Andy

Perhaps you need to log out? Try a different browser? Try from at home?
From here, the behaviour is/was this:
1) http://esupport.3com.com/eserviceLDAP_enu/start.swe
2) gives me this form: http://img97.imageshack.us/img97/4456/h3cform.png
3) And when I fill that in, I get this cryptic useless error message:
4) http://img530.imageshack.us/img530/5979/3comwwwbuginformhandler.png
I hope this helps YOU, to improve your system.
Can you now please get ME someone, to finally help me with MY support problem:

Thank you very much!

Re: 3com website is buggy
Hi IE-TopModel,
I've informed our web-team about the old 3Com site issue. They should look into why it's not redirecting to the new site.
In terms of the other issues you're having - if they're time sensitive, and you've not been able to find the answers on these forums - then please open a support call with HP, using the support lookup tool to find the relevant numbers or web forms. You can also find a case submission form on the new My Networking portal.
Andy.

Re: 3com website is buggy
Hi!
I have now submitted ANOTHER case at
https://h10145.www1.hp.com/help/help_questions.aspx?l2id=48&SelectedTab=3
Perhaps they answer now???
There is actually NO dropdown field for "Product category" and "Product" for the "3com 4200G 24port", so that I had to choose "other" instead. Not a good solution, isn't it? Perhaps you want to tell that to your web team, too?
Thanks!
