why does a 3com 4200G need 200 attempts ???
Which is the correct HP-forum for a "switch 3com 4200G 24port" ?
I have a severe problem in our LAN, and to me it looks as if it is a switch-problem.
Is this a known bug in the 4200G ?
Look at this test case: It took circa 200 attempts, until the two machines found each other.
Is that the fault of the switch? How do I have to configure the switch differently? I used the config with which it came.
Thanks a lot!

Re: why does a 3com 4200G need 200 attempts ???
This problem is discussed here now:
http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/E-Series/4200G-needs-200-attempts-to-route/m-p/2328309
Where is the correct sub-forum for the "3com 4200G" switch?
Thanks!
