Problem with trunk between Aruba 2920 and Dell Force10

Hell there, am hoping somebody can help me.

I've been trying to connect an Aruba 2920 to a Dell Force 10 via trunk with no success for the best part of the day.  The Dell connects to other switches (cisco) without issue on the relevant VLAN (2) but for whatever reason the packets don't get transmitted as soon as I connect to a trunk port on the HPE.

My workstation is on the Dell switch and when I have a regular port connected between the switches I can ping the server connected to the HPE, but as soon as I connect a trunked port I get nothing.

If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Craig

Re: Problem with trunk between Aruba 2920 and Dell Force10

What do you mean with "trunk"? an aggregated (logical) interface made of two or more physical interfaces (HP/HPE/Aruba jargon) - carry one or multiple VLANs - or just a single physical port that is able to carry multiple VLANs (Cisco jargon)?

Show us sanitized Aruba 2920/Dell switch related configurations (VLANs and physical/logical - if any - interfaces involved) and maybe we would be able to help you solve your issue.
