Procurve 2626-PoE routing
Hi All
I am trying to add a second default gateway on a Procurve 2626, with a higher metric - is that possible?
Alternatively, I want to add multiple routes for the same network, but with different gateways - I am trying to introduce a new router, which is the back up route if the primary (default gateway) fails.
This is my current routing table, and I want to add a new route to 10.10.20.0/24, that goes to 10.10.10.252 (the second router), but with a higher metric:
Destination Gateway VLAN Type Sub-Type Metric Dist.
------------------ --------------- ---- --------- ---------- ---------- -----
0.0.0.0/0 10.10.10.254 1 static 1 1
10.10.10.0/24 DATA 1 connected 0 0
10.10.11.0/24 VOICE 2 connected 0 0
10.10.12.0/24 STORAGE 3 connected 0 0
10.10.20.0/24 10.10.10.254 1 static 1 1
127.0.0.0/8 reject static 0 250
127.0.0.1/32 lo0 connected 0 0
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Andrew.
