MSM765/E-MSM460 not routing to VPN (Sonicwall)

Trying to get an iphone to connect to my Sonicwall SSL VPN appliance. I connect to an open HP 460 AP, then try to reach the external (internet) address of the Sonicwall to establish a VPN session, but it gets rejected as unreachable. Same VPN address/connection works from another wifi spot "outside" of here, but not here even going out to the internet and back in?
