How to find out the serial number of FC-Disk in SAN?

Hi,

 

is it possible to find out the serial number of the Fibre Channel Disks in the SAN without removing them physically?

Seems that Command View EVA "only" displays the Product Number but not the Serial Number!

Hi,

 

CV also shows the serial number of installed HDDs.

 

On your EVA, go to Hardware --> Rack 1 --> Disk Enclosure X --> Disk X, then on the right side, click on die Disk Drive tab. There you will find the serial number. Check attached screenshot for an example.
