IOPS comparing between SAN's.

Hi,

I have a few SAN's and some DAS. I want to compare the speed of the new and old hardware. How can I do this? Iozone does not give the IOPS. Is there no official or general known (standard) software for benchmarking IO?

I believe HP used to recommend iometer.
There is also IOR which I've used occasionally.

I use most of the time IOmeter and SQLIO... Gives a good overview and idea of performance...

OK, iometer is fine. It's old but gets the job done.
