IPv6 Unique Local Addressing on MSA 2050

Hello,

I have looked around but can't seem to find any user documentation for the MSA 2050 SAN.

Our management network is on a Unique Local IPv6 Subnet (Per RFC 4193 https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4193).

We can't seem to figure out how to assign an address through the management interface (CLI or Web).

We are running software version VL100R004.

Links to the documentation, how to get to the documentation, or the commands for the CLI with reference would be awesome.

Thank you,

Nich

Here is MSA Storage Information Library Link:   http://h17007.www1.hpe.com/us/en/storage/info-library/index.aspx?cat=msa&subcat=MSA_1040+MSA_1050+MSA_2040+MSA_2042+MSA_2050+MSA_2052&lang=1

You should be able to find the documentation there.

Re: IPv6 Unique Local Addressing on MSA 2050

According the  MSA_2050 Technical Overview (from SABA and Webinars) the following can be found at the FAQ

Q: Is it possible to use IPv6 on the management ports?
A: Like the MSA 2040, it is not supported.  GL code still has erroneous IPv6 references in both the CLI and SMU,
but these are removed in VL code.

Hope this helps
