I help manage 20+ MSA 2040 / 2050, I'm looking for a tool to centrally manage them all, this includes monitoring, firmware updates etc. does HPE or a third party provide a tool to do this for me?
I'm currently using HPE iLO Amp Pack to manage my Proliant Server estate and I would like something simular for my Storage.
Any suggestions please.

Re: Manage multiple MSA2050
Hi Richard,
I am not aware of any centralized monitoring tool for MSA arrays.
I have received feedback from few customers who use PRTG or Stor2RRD software to monitor MSA arrays.
You may check with any of these vendors or even a google search with the software name + MSA to find more details.
MSA has an inbuilt option to configure email alerts for hardware events.
Please visit the following web link to find information on latest firmware available for MSA:
https://h41111.www4.hpe.com/storage/msafirmware.html
MSA 2040/ 2050 are quite old models and not much firmware updates could be expected.
You may upload logs from MSA array to the below web link to check whether there are any pending firmware updates:

Re: Manage multiple MSA2050
Thanks for the response,
If we were to go through a hardware refresh, what storage options do we have for a 2 node Hyper-v cluster ?

Re: Manage multiple MSA2050
Hi Richard,
You could consider MSA 2062 or 1060 arrays which are the latest in MSA series.
