MSA 2062 - iSCSI ports with same MAC addresses on two different controllers
Hello, I have a strange issue with a new MSA 2062 10GB ISCSI unit. The iSCISI ports on both controllers A and Controller B have the same MAC address. ie: A1 and B1 have the same MAC addresses, A2 and B2 etc..
This is apparent in a show ports command below. Because of this, ports are flapping on the switch since it is seeing two ports with the same MAC address. How is this possible? should those MAC addresses not be unique? Any advice would be appreciated. Is there a way to change the MAC addresses on the controllers?

Re: MSA 2062 - iSCSI ports with same MAC addresses on two different controllers
Hello Ali7,
From the host port output you have shared seems like both the controllers are showing same MAC address.
Kindly log a case with HPE support , based on log analysis for this MSA , we might need replacement here.
However , we can confirm this only after log analysis. So , please collect one set of MSA logs and get in touch with support team for further actions.

Navaneetha
