New MSA 2050
I have a new MSA 2050 and a new ProLiant DL 360 Gen 10 with Ethernet 10GB 2P 562 FLR SFP+
and cables Aruba 10GB SFP 3m DAC
This hardware was giving to me as is. My question is, can I direct attach MSA 2050 to the ProLiant with above specs?
HPE can you give me options?

Re: New MSA 2050
Hi,
Please check whether the Aruba 10GB cable part number shows up in MSA 2050 quickspecs list as well as 562FLR card quickspecs list.
If the cable part number shows up in the quickspecs of both MSA 2050 and 562FLR card , they should be compatible.

MSA 2050 SAN by default is configured for Fibre channel connectivity.
You can change the host port mode to iscsi using the below command:
set host-port-mode iSCSI
Check whether MSA reports incompatible SFP error while the 10GB Aruba cable is connected.
Note: ESXI does not support direct connection between server and MSA storage in software iscsi environment.
