P2000 and Windows 2008 R2 32 bit. cannot see luns presented to host

Hi, i need some guidance as to where to start looking on this issue.

I have/had a windows 2008r2 cluster (two nodes, Proliant DL380G5 emulex HBA dual port) and a p2000 connected via FC to a FC switch. 4 LUNs are presented to the two nodes.

All was fine and dandy but a failure in the NODE1 (corrupted install of a program) forced me to reinstall the OS.

I installed Windows 2008r2 32bit with HP SmartStart CD 8.9 and then applied PSP 9.0.

The thing is that now I cannot "see" the LUNs in Disk Manager in Windows 2008r2. So my first guess is that something (drivers?) is still missing in the OS. All devices,HBAs are seen correctly in windows device manager.

Advice is welcomed as I have no idea where to start. I 99% do iSCSI so command lines for FC are kind of new to me.

Thanks,

As first check if the LED on the HBA have the same State as on the other Node.

Then it is a Good Idea to Install the

HP Storage x64 OneCommand Fibre Channel and Converged Network Adapter Configuration Utility (American, International)

Utility to check the HBA and Connectivity.

I assume that you don't change the HBA, so if you using the same as before you should not have a Zoning or Presentation change.

Do you have a SAN Switch between P2000 und Server, or direct connect?
