P2000 G3 FC unable to delete vdisk
Hello!
I`m using P2000 G3 FC storage.
I have 7 vdisk and want to remove one of them (named "dgA01", 4-disk RAID5)
I receive error: "Unable to delete the vdisk(s).
The delete operation failed because the vdisk is being used as a pool component."
dgA01 has no volumes, no snapshots, no snap pools
I suppose something is using this vdisk. Is there some command to check vdisk usage, or metadata?
If needed, I can paste any command needed
Kind regards, Pawel Kubiak

Re: P2000 G3 FC unable to delete vdisk
Could you share the exact error as the P2000 G3 does not support Virtual pool. but Vdisks as in Linear configuration.
I work for HPE

Re: P2000 G3 FC unable to delete vdisk
Is it configured as Snap Pool?
Try:
show snap-pools
show master-volumes
delete snap-pool dgA01

Re: P2000 G3 FC unable to delete vdisk
@pawel_kubiak
Is it possible that the disks in the P2000 system came from another MSA array? Either an MSA 2040 or MSA 2050?
As stated above the P2000 does not support Virtualize storage.
