Re: Upgrading EVA4400 firmware & CommandView version
Hello Yaboto,
Latest firmware (XCS) for EVA4400 is 10100000 and avaialble at:
https://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=T4256-63147
To install this firmware you need to go to Command View v10.0 first. It's available at :
https://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=P6000_CV10
If you need to find yourself next new releases, please go to http://software.hp.com and search for key words there.
Hope that helps.

Re: Upgrading EVA4400 firmware & CommandView version
I am surprised that you are running with CV EVA 9.01 along with XCS09534000 which is not supported. XCS0953x000 supports from CV EVA 9.1. Attached is the old Compatibility guide for your reference.
The upgrade path for CV EVA in your case,
9.0.1 -> 9.1
9.1 -> 9.2
9.2-> 10.0
In order to avoid all the above you need to uninstall CV EVA 9.0.1, reboot the server and go for the fresh installation of CV EVA 10 from the below link,
https://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=P6000_CV10

All other details related to XCS upgrade you can find in the following customer advisory,
It is recommended that HP Command View 10.0 is used to manage the HP Enterprise Virtual Array with controller software XCS 10100000. So please find the following advisory which will help you to understand better,

Re: Upgrading EVA4400 firmware & CommandView version
I am not sure why you are looking for CV EVA 9.2.........I would suggest to go for the complete uninstallation of old CV EVA and go for the latest CV EVA10........because it is always good to run your EVA with latest XCS and to run with latest management software as well.
CV EVA 9.2 not available in public sites. You need to contact hp.

Re: Upgrading EVA4400 firmware & CommandView version
The latest firmware XCS 10100000 works only with command view 10 or later, cv version 9.2 supports xcs up to version XCS 0953x000.
So you need
XCS 10100000
and
command view 10.
Uninstall the old CV version and install the new version.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Upgrading EVA4400 firmware & CommandView version
I want to upgrade from 09534000 to 10100000 with array-based management. I can't find any information about which management controller firmware I need, or where to find it.
Management module firmware is currently mmp-0001.4000-CR05B2. Do I need to update this? If so, where do I get the latest version?
Thanks,
Domenic

Re: Upgrading EVA4400 firmware & CommandView version
Hi,
management module firmware is included in the CV .iso.
When you upgrade CV on the management module it should upgrade the mm firmware as well.

Re: Upgrading EVA4400 firmware & CommandView version
Hello,
I upgraded the ABM module on my EVA4400 to CV10.3 and now when I am trying to upgrade the firmware to 11001100, when I reach the point where I click next after I browse for the SSS file, I get redirected to the page where it says that the base port has changed.
Thank you in advance.
