we have an HP NetServer LH3, multiprocessor that has been getting application Popup event id 41 saying that the CPUs in this machine don't have the same revision levels. One has a stepping level of 2 and the other level 1. what can i do to resolve this problem.

Re: CPUs with different revision levels
Update the BIOS to the latest version, and if that doesn't fix it try swapping the processors.

Re: CPUs with different revision levels
I had updated the BIOS, cleared the CMOS and yesterday swapped the CPUs with the help of support in HP and still did not do anything. The CPUs are still reporting different stepping levels.
