Having contacted HP support they have informed me that they have not tested any drive larger than 18GB on an E60.
I have a custoemr requiring larger HDs - has anyone used larger HDs in an E60, if so what and any probs?
Many Thanks

Solution
HP "tested" at initial release and the 18GB was the largest available at the time. Today, the state-of-the-art, use 1/3 the power as the 18GB HP test, and this can be the only factor that may limit you, the power supply watt rating on the onboard LSI SCSI controller.
We can confidently recommend that you can use any of the current drives available with no problem. We would suggest though, you verify that the BIOS is the latest 4.06.26 ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/ccd/soar2sdd/ns1765/ns1765en/e60_bios26_en.exe , for the E60 BIOS 4.06.13 PN and earlier have incorrect SCSI speed settings.
