Hi,
HP Netserver LC3:
A) SCSI0: D5025A with external disk (NTFS partition)
B) SCSI1: NETRAID controller (NTFS NT Server 4.0 partition - RAID5)
if now the HP server boot, first the disk on the D5025A will be scanned as DISK C:, than the DISK on the NETRAID controller... and if NT starts i got the error: NO OS FOUND...
where/how can i change the scsi id??s for adapter netraid and D5025A, so that first the RAID5 partition will get drive C:
thanks,
martin.

Solution
Hi Martin,
this can normally be achieved by changing the boot drive priority, here is how you can do this :
- restart server and press F2 to go into the
SETUP
- choose Configuration
- go down till Boot device order
Here you have 2 options about boot order
1) Boot device priority:
Here you can change which device needs to
come first i.e. cdrom , floppy , LAN or hard
disk, you don't have to change anyhting
here.
2) Hard drive priority:
Here you need to set the NETRAID card
first, it will be shown as "PCI RAID
adapter (bus xx dev xx).
Other devices you see in here will be
"Bootable cards".
So make sure the PCI RAID adapte comes
first here and you'll boot from that card
first if it can find a bootable disk/LUN on
it.
You could also disable the BIOS on the D5025A, this should also work.
