Dear all
i need to setup an HP TC3100 server with a Netraid 1M Raid Ctrl on RAID5 (3 x 18 GB), running SCO UNIX 5.05 Etnerprice.During the installtion, at the "BOOT:" point i type LINK and then "amird" to link the raid 1M driver which i created using HP Navigator CD.During this procedure and immetiateley after the the BDLT LiNK finishes the server reboots.I did exaclty the same procedure with all the other models of HP servers and i had no problem.I try to solve the problem by updating BIOS of the server , firmware of RAid controller but nothing works.Is there an incompatipilty bettween the hardware and UNIX i am using?
Is this compination tested?
Is there a solution to it?
Note that if i move the NetRaid 1M ctrl and do the same procedure on an HP E800 server it works o.k?
Thanks in advance

Solution
If you have following stop msg with "memory excessively fragmented", 3 times, andthen the installation stops and will not continue pls try following.
Resolution:
Boot to the SCO CD. At the Boot: prompt enter:
mem=1m-16m,16m-m/n
This will take you back to the Boot: prompt.
Proceed as normal from here by entering the appropriate boot string for the system you are installing SCO 5.0.5.
Notes/Warnings:
Resolution provided by document #109935 from Caldera.
