NetServer LT6000r and Windows Server 2003
Hi All,
Quick question really... does Windows Server 2003 work OK on the LT6000r?
I notice that HP provide no downloads for W2K3 for this server at all!
If anyone has it working/seen it working, please let me know as I am contemplating a purchase!
thanks
paul

Re: NetServer LT6000r and Windows Server 2003
Hi Paul,
I've installed Server 2003 Ent on a U2 LT6K with no problems. It's deployed as a file server (very basic install, though with Mac File Services), and running well for about a month...On a U3 version, I've run into a problem that seems to be BIOS related. Causes a conflict that hangs the server occasionally, and I haven't tracked that solution down yet (if there is one). The MSKB says it must be addressed by the vendor BIOS, and it doesn't seem that 2003 is officially supported on the LT6K. I'll post if I find a fix.
