Netserver Storage/12 and Win2000

I'm trying to install an HP Netserver Storage/12 connected to an HP Netserver LPr under Windows 2000.
Windows 2000 sees the new device and starts the wizard
looking for HP D5989C SCSI Processor Device drivers. These are nowhere on the Win2000 CD, and I can't find them on the HP web site anywhere.
Does anyone know how I can get this combination to work.

Thanks

Re: Netserver Storage/12 and Win2000

Pierre,

What controller are you cabling the RS/12 to? Is it hooked up to the embedded Symbios controller or do you have a netraid configured fro it? The SCSI processor device on the D5989C is not your scsi controller card for the server. You need to load the controller driver for either the Symbios or a netraid before you'll be able to access the hdds.

Re: Netserver Storage/12 and Win2000

Hello Pierre,

you just need to browse with the wizard to the D5989C.inf file that is available on the navigator cd. It is located in the \periph\rs12\inf directory.

attached is a copy of the readme file taken from the nav cd.

I'm using the embedded Symbios controller.

I don't know if it is because my navigator CD is too old but I only have .inf files for the D5989A and D5989B on it.

Hello Pierre,

sorry but i was out of the office for a few days,if you did not managed to get it in the mean time, here is the .inf file attached. It was taken from the M.04.05 navigator cd.
