Server will not boot
My Netserver 5/100 LH would not boot. It displays an error: BIOS not installed and it freezes. When it tries to boot from the utilities partition it would freeze again. The initial process recognizes both HD and CD-ROM, but when it fails to boot and restarts it shows that it does not have any HD and sends a Error 1919 warning. Pleas advise me on what to do....

Re: Server will not boot
Hi Enrique ,
Try to reset the BIOS , and start the system again. seems problem with bios.
BIOS reset jumper is located near the BIOS , and can be found with the diagram , on opening the cover or in the manual.
Cheers.

Re: Server will not boot
Hi Enrique,
Just to clarify, the message that says "BIOS Not Installed" is not an error, just an informational message from the SCSI Controller Firmware indicating that the SCSI BIOS doesn't have any boot drives on it, so it didn't need to install the BIOS.
If it gets to the Utility Partition then the drive(s) is/are recognized somewhere on the system. We will need some configuration information to figure this out. Is there a NetRAID Controller installed? Have you suffered any drive failures recently?
Good luck,
Sean T. Craig Sr. C.E.T., M.C.P.
