P-18 of the "HP Netserver Remote administrator guide" refers to an application note on this subject. and mentions as location "support section of the HP Netservers Web page"
I'm unable to locate this application note

Re: using Integrated remote assistant with terminal-servers

Hello Peter,

i found this article on URL:
http://ccscweb.lvld.hp.com/NSD/hardware/accessories/RA-IRA/documents/g_r-ir-rmoteasst.pdf

Don't think you can acces this from outside the HP network so i attached it to this reply.
Did not found the same doc on www.hp.com so far but it is public viewable.

Pls be aware the "terminal server" they talk about has nothing to do with Windows 2000 Terminal Services but it's a hardware solution.

regards, Kris

Re: using Integrated remote assistant with terminal-servers

yes this article looks like the information needed
Yes i am using a hardware terminal-server (Compaq DECserver-700).
The neccesary info found in this article is that i need a "com port redirector" to direct PCAnywhere to this terminals-server.
I previously tried to connect direct to a telnet-listener on this terminal-server but that didn't work (PcAnywhere says "host not found". but telnet to this port works fine..)

thanks for your reply
Pieter
