what size is it?
Can anyone tell me what is the largest Hard drive that can be installed in a HP Netserver LC II? Does it need to be a proprietary one or can i buy any make?

HP supported Hdd are 18 Gb P/N D7176A (common trail) D5039A (for hot swapp cage), You probably could use larger disk, but remenber that if you connect them to se Hotwsap cage you will need to force them in SE mode throught their jumper

You can purchase the D5039Ao replacement accessory in capacities of up to 181 GB. The only limitation is if you are running the original Disk Array Controller, rebranded from Mylex, this controller can only support HP firmware unless the controller firmware is replaced.
