NAS b2000 v2

I have a NAS b2000 v2 with 2 disks of 36,4gb for mirrored OS and another 3 disks of 146,8gb for the INTERNAL STORAGE. In the EXTERNAL STORAGE i have anoche 3 disks of 146,8gb. It´s a good idea have a RAID-5 with 6 disks (three disks of 146,8gb of internal storage and three of 146,8gb of external storage)??? Are there bottlenecks, any problems???
Thx people

Re: NAS b2000 v2

Hi,
Is the current configuration two RAID 5 sets with 3 disks each ?

Configuring all disks in one RAID set will free up disk space (146GB) and is faster compared with a set of 3 disks.

The only risk I can see is if TWO disks fails. If one set with six disks, you will loose all data. If two sets, either one of the sets is intact and you lose the data in the other set (if both disks is in the same set), or (if one disk in each set) both sets run with reduced performance.
