Multiple type of files to be compressed as single file
On Guardian for one release I will have 101, 0 (Audidated/Nonaudited) , Cobol/Enform objects, enscribe files.
I want to compress all these verious files into single file, also uncompress them making sure there format everything will be retained.
Please let me know for this how I should use PAK or TAR or PAX commands or any other utility ?

Re: Multiple type of files to be compressed as single file
@y2025
I am a bit confused, but as I am not an expert in this topic, I have a limited understanding. However, here is what I can suggest.
Using PAK, specifically designed for HPE NonStop systems, preserves Guardian file attributes, security, audit flags, Enscribe structure, COBOL/Enform attributes, etc, and supports both audited and non-audited files compatible with Guardian and OSS environments can compress multiple files/directories into one archive.
Regards,
Azr
