Here’s a quick recap of HPE Discover 2018 Las Vegas – the best one yet!
Over and over again, HPE has proven its commitment to partnering. This commitment is usually the most apparent through the network of authorized customers or channel partners. Discover is Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s (HPE) premier customer and partner conference. At Discover 2018 Las Vegas, HPE unveiled new solutions and partnerships designed to create an edge-centric, cloud-enabled and data-driven future.
HPE Discover General Session
The General Session is always a key moment at HPE Discover. After an incredible opening performance, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Antonio Neri took the stage for the General Session on how HPE can help customers capitalize on opportunities around the digital transformation and the edge. The highlight of this year’s general session was the announcement to invest $4b into accelerating innovation at the intelligent edge. This strategic organic investment will be focused on helping customers turn all of their data - from every edge to any cloud – into intelligence that drives seamless interactions between people and things, delivers personalized user experiences, and employ AI and machine learning to continuously adapt to changes in real time. Antonio Neri and his guests explored the hottest technology trends and painted a vision for the enterprise of the future that will advance the way we all live and work.
Antonio also said, “Data is the new intellectual property, and companies that can distill intelligence from their data —whether in a smart hospital or an autonomous car—will be the ones to lead.”
