Houston Food Bank Event aligns with HPE OEM Solutions Social Responsibility Initiative

Most people living in food-insecure households report being unable to afford balanced meals, worrying about the adequacy of their food supply, running out of food, and cutting the size of meals or skipping meals. In order to address this issue, the Houston Food Bank distributes food and other essentials to those in need through a network of more than 1,600 community partners. With this, we are proud to support the OEM Solutions DEI team’s 'Volunteer for Houston Food Bank In-Person Event'- an off-site event, to be held on Friday, June 17th, at the Houston Food Bank.

The Houston Food Bank is the largest food bank in the United States that serves a high rate of minorities, women, and lower-income families. Founded in 1982, the Houston Food Bank is a certified member of Feeding America, the nation’s food bank network, with a four-star rating from Charity Navigator. They distribute fresh produce, meat and non-perishables and prepare nutritious hot meals for kids in our state-of-the-art Keegan Kitchen. In collaboration with a network of more than 1,600 community partners, this Food Bank provides assistance to thousands of individuals each week through its innovative programs and services.
