HPE Discover 2019 Las Vegas Day 1: Check out the major OEM highlights!

The wait is over; the big day is finally here as HPE Discover 2019 Las Vegas kick-started on June 18th. And much like the last year, the Day 1 at Discover 2019 was action-packed and very eventful with over 10,000 customers in attendance and more of thought-provoking sessions, hands-on demos, and networking opportunities across the show. Discover is an amazing opportunity to engage with customers and partners to drive pipeline opportunity and revenue growth for HPE. The HPE OEM Solutions Hub is playing a huge role this year. The hub hosted 12 customers and live demos, including LUCD, Superloop, Sync-n-Scale, IoT.nxt, and Konica Minolta - all touching on successful use cases around hybrid cloud, Intelligent Edge, and HPE Greenlake in a variety of industry verticals.

Discover 2019 Las Vegas featured the HPE OEM Hub (DEMO # 1008) in a big way, as well as working as a central point for many in-depth discussions and meetings. Attendees got personalized tours on the show floor & were able to see real-world solutions which were aimed to change the way we live and work. They also got the chance to interact with dozens of HPE OEM technology and application experts. Here are more details about all the major highlights & happenings at HPE Discover 2019:

• At one of the Transformation Zone demos, HPE addressed key space challenges by bringing high performance computing capabilities to space explorers with the Spaceborne Computer, empowering them to be self-sufficient.

• The OEM team hosted a video interview in the Customer Studios with Rod Anliker (CTO, HPE OEM) and Dennis Curry (CTO, Konica Minolta), showcasing how Konica Minolta leveraged the HPE OEM program to reinvent itself at the edge, creating the workplace of the future for SMBs. During the interview, both the hosts discussed how Konica Minolta, with the aid of HPE OEM solutions, are enabling the workplace of the future with KM's Workplace Hub solution and HPE technology.

• Dave Chapin, Manager, Business Development & GTM Enablement, hosted a panel session with OEMs LUCD, Superloop, Sync-n-Scale, IoT.nxt. Many great insights were shared about key business challenges, future industry trends, their experience as HPE OEM solutions partners, and more.

• In a lively coffee talk session with social media influencers, Dr. Tom Bradicich and OEM CTO Rod Anliker shared how HPE is leading the technology effort in developing real-world edge and AI solutions, accelerating OEM and other opportunities in this fast-growing market.

• OEM customers had a one-hour, curated guided tour, where they visited different areas in the Transformation Showcase and heard directly from subject matter experts on how HPE helps address key business and IT priorities.

• Discover 2019 Las Vegas attendees witnessed the popular OEM shoes. It was one of the biggest highlights and many customers and partners stopped by the OEM Hub to see the shoes, and win exciting prizes.

• The fun at Discover 2019 doesn't end there. The OEM Team, with sponsorship from AMD, hosted a reception for 200+ OEM Partners & Customers at Madame Tussauds on Day 1 and the party was a hit!

The first day at the event was spectacular and memorable; the remaining two days are expected to be bigger, better and more fun.
