HPE Discover 2022: Airspan Networks delivers 5G faster and smarter!

Last year, Airspan Networks Inc. completed a series of tests with HPE demonstrating the ability to integrate end-to-end Open RAN architecture into HPE’s 5G Standalone network core. This included successful interoperability for a full 5G end-to-end cloud-native ecosystem through HPE 5G Core Stack and Airspan gNB and tested speed and latency performance to validate several use cases for public networks across Core, Edge and RAN, paving the way for additional tests to include network slicing and other critical 5G use cases.

With this, Airspan participated at HPE Discover 2022, showcasing our 5G solutions & accelerating the adoption of Open RAN and enhancing the ecosystem. Organizations, these days, are increasingly looking at the promise of a customized 5G experience for low-latency, dedicated capacity, extended range and security across campus, whilst complementing existing Wi-Fi networks. It is believed 5G surpasses Wi-Fi in terms of wide area coverage, although the latter has the edge due to cost-effective, indoor connectivity. With HPE’s private 5G technology, customers can uniquely enjoy the best of both worlds with seamless interworking across both private 5G and Wi-Fi.
