RealWear and HPE OEM solutions: Creating the worker of the future
With businesses undergoing remarkable changes today, it has become important for their counterparts to seek new ways in order to stay ahead of the competition. However, this changing business landscape also poses challenges especially when it comes to employees working from remote sites. Although they strive to boost productivity, companies constantly face critical issues while providing effective support and managing dispersed remote teams. Combating this problem, RealWear collaborated with HPE OEM solutions, setting a new standard in remote collaboration for geographically dispersed teams.
The new HPE MyRoom VRG in the HMT-1 that will play a key role in the development of the next generation of industrial workers. "RealWear partnered with HPE to have solutions embedded on the device. HPE MyRoom VRG is a remote mentor application which allows the expert to communicate over distance with the engineers. The remote workers in the field can use the hands-free voice control device to get remote support that can enable to be more productive and efficient," says John Thurgood, Director of Business Development, EMEA Realwear.
MyRoom VRG runs on an Edgeline device which can be located on premise. Whatโs interesting is that the expert gets to see through the camera and guide the engineer accordingly. This improves communication and collaboration by connecting experts across the world at any time of day, thereby increasing productivity and changing the way remote employees work. According to Garry Orsolini, Director of TechnologyโEducation Services, HPE Pointnext, incorporating VRG into the HMT-1 is a great way to solve issues remotely. This partnership has enabled invaluable collaboration and transformed the way businesses work today.
HPE OEM offers world-class IT solutions and accelerates new opportunities in order to meet the evolving demands of the client customers. Appreciating the same, Mr Thurgood states, "HPE OEM solutions have been driving innovation and transforming the way companies work, making them more productive and efficient".
