Synamedia maximizes global go-to-market speed and agility with HPE OEM

When consumers click their remotes to watch a video—whether it’s through a popular streaming service, from a time-shifting TV or cloud DVR, or any other source—chances are Synamedia is making it possible. Synamedia builds its video network solutions on custom-configured HPE ProLiant servers, as well as HPE Apollo systems, acquired through the HPE OEM program. For example, these OEM platforms provide Synamedia’s Edge Media Broadcaster product with the scale to deliver over thousands of TV channels to millions of viewers each day. Powering the company’s Edge Director, they enable cable and satellite operators to configure policies that automatically shift services between single-viewer on-demand viewing (unicast) and streaming live video to millions (multicast).

Synamedia also leverages the supply chain flexibility and global distribution capabilities of the HPE OEM program to bring its solutions to market.
