The top 7 things to look forward to at BCW24
This blog was written and contributed by Tommaso Bellomo, OEM Business Development Manager, who will be attending Bosch ConnectedWorld 2024.
Itโs almost time for Bosch ConnectedWorld 2024! On February 28โ29, Iโll be joining thousands of executives, IT professionals, and innovators from around the globe in Berlin, Germany to hear from some of the leading minds in AI, IoT, and digital business.
With 80 speakers on two stages, 15 executive keynotes, panel discussions, workshops, and more packed into just two days, itโs going to be a challenge to prioritize what to attend. Plus, there are several networking events and a packed exhibition hall to factor in. Thatโs why Iโm planning ahead. Here are the top 7 things Iโm excited to check out at BCW24.
#1: Attending the opening keynote โPerform today, shaping tomorrowโ
To kick off BCW24, an all-star panel of tech executives will share their insights on the current technical, political, and economic environment, along with strategies for achieving sustainable success. I expect this will be an inspiring session to start the event off on a high note.
#2: Learning whatโs next with AI for business
A Wednesday afternoon deep-dive discussion will explore the role of strategic collaborations in innovation and offer real-world examples of the transformative power of AI. Plus, a break-out panel titled โDriving change: Implementing Generative AI in corporate settingsโ promises to share key success factors, use cases, risks, and future developments in generative AI for business.
#3: Catching up with the metaverse
Despite hitting peak hype in 2021, the metaverse didnโt disappear. Itโs time to get caught up on what metaverse builders have been up to. A four-part panel discussion will explore how immersive technologies have continued to mature and are now transforming retail, product design, and user experience, to name a few.
#4: Getting hands-on in the โAutoverseโ
Iโm looking forward to seeing for myself how OEMs can develop new features for software-defined vehicles using virtual and mixed-reality test environments at the Autoverse Hands-On session.
#5: Seeing the hackathon team pitches
Bosch ConnectedExperience (BCX), one of Europeโs largest AI and IoT hackathons, will also be going on at this time. Over 30 hours, 300 coders, developers, UX pros, product designers, and other builders will form teams and tackle several technology challenges. Teams will pitch their solutions for either the automotive or manufacturing industry tracks at BCW on February 28. I canโt wait to see what they build!
#6: Discovering tomorrowโs game-changers
At the Start Up Campus, 24 promising European startup companies in areas including AI, green tech, robotics, and autonomous driving will present their innovative solutions. Which ones could become the next tech leaders? Iโm around to find out.
#7: Customizing my networking experience
The chance to meet potential partners, collaborators, and customers is a big draw for any tech conference. I love that BCW24 will have several different networking formats and opportunities that should make meeting like-minded professionals a lot easier. The conference will offer dedicated areas and a matchmaking service to facilitate one-on-one meetings, moderated group networking discussions, and, of course, a lively party with music, food, and drinks.
Bonus: Visiting the HPE Booth
Last but certainly not least, be sure to visit our booth (P5) to take a look around. Our demos at BCW will be about creating trustworthy AI, unifying data analytics across hybrid environments, and building a private 5G network.
I hope to have lively discussions on these subjects (and others of course!) at the event.
These are just a few highlights from this activity-packed conference. More than 70 other exhibitors will also be demonstrating their latest solutions in the 10,000 square-meter exhibition hall. Check out the program to browse all the presentations, events, exhibitors, and opportunities BCW24 has to offer.
Iโll see you in Berlin! If you are attending and want to connect before the event, Iโm available on LinkedIn.
Thank you, Tommaso.
