10.20 hardware supported
Does anyone know what the most recent RISC hardware will suport HP-UX 10.20. I need to keep 10.20 running (currently K-class) but need newer hardware.
thanks
Sue.

Re: 10.20 hardware supported
Here's the matrix for workstations:
http://www.hp.com/cgi-bin/pf-new.cgi?IN=/workstations/risc/standard/operating/support_matrix/update.html
and here's the URL for the server matrix (which is unfortunately unavailable at the moment):

Re: 10.20 hardware supported
But that only tells me what 11.xx runs on, not what 10.20 will run on.

Re: 10.20 hardware supported
The workstation matrix shows that 10.20 will run on anything up to and including a PA8600. I don't recall exactly what the server matrix showed and I can't get to it at the moment, but I think the fact that you can run on a PA8600 should give you a strong hint.

Re: 10.20 hardware supported
It will NOT run on L's, N's, rp's, etc.
Anything in the server matrix that shows that it will support 32-bit only or 32-bit and 64-bit should run HP-UX 10.20.
Anything that shows as 64-bit ONLY in the server matrix will definitely NOT run HP-UX 10.20.
I think the most bang-for-the-buck right now if you MUST have 10.20 would be a used K580 that is maxed out on CPU and RAM.

Re: 10.20 hardware supported
T600 is supporting H/W,O/S combination on 10.20 with dependencies but I need to check what it is.
According to my document which has made by HP recently, D and K class are supported also.
