1000Base installation

We have two L2000 server (OS HPUX 11.00) with an 1000Base-T card. The servers are connected with eachother with een fibre cord. I like to know how to configure such a card. When i have an look with SAM i see that the cards are not configured. Teh installation guide hasn't been very helpfull
