We upgraded one of our servers from 10.20 to 11.00 64 bit
we have a secondary tape(dds) drive that is connected on an EISA card
it no longer works
Is this because of 11.00, the 64 bit or something else?
Jim

Re: 11.00 and EISA
EISA is not supported at 64 bits, so yepper, that could be the problem.

Solution
There are (and never will be) any drivers for EISA in the 64 bit version of HP-UX 11.x
You will either need to re-install using 32 bit, or change the EISA card for a supported HSC card.
