11.31 ia64 not booting after mirroring disks
Hi All,
lets start to tell the story :)
we have a rx3600 server and decided to create a bootable mirrored disk. i followed all the steps at Hp-ux administration guide, http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-4589/index.html (page 81 for mirroring integrity systems)
Anyway, i set the alternate path for mirrored disk, and controlled with lvlnboot -v to verify the process, all volumes appeared on both disks.
Then i tried to boot from alternate path, but alt path failed and booted from primary path. i pulled the primary disk and tried again, got these logs at console;

i thought a problem when setting alternate path might caused this and deleted alternate path. After this operation i rebooted the server, now it is not booting from primary too,it says;

Re: 11.31 ia64 not booting after mirroring disks
Hello Dburak,
View all boot devs using this cmd
Shell> map -b -r -fs
does it list yours, if yes
Shell>fsn:\efi\hpux\hpux.efi
(Replace n with the label for the alt disk)
if its not listed, did you add it to the EFI boot menu
Shell> bcfg boot add 1 fsn:\efi\hpux\hpux.efi " HP-UX Pri Boot"
Shell> bcfg boot add 2 fsn:\efi\hpux\hpux.efi " HP-UX HA Alt Boot"
