11.i version1 or version2

Admins,
I received a new (used) machine and doing a uname -a gives me "HP-UX egate1 B.11.11 U 9000/800 606329353 unlimited-user license". I need to install a new package and it is needing specific patches based on 11.i version1 or ver2. How do I tell what version it is along with the differences.

It's version 1 (.11)

Start by Downloading and installing the latest patch bundle:

HP-UX 11.23 is 11i Version 2.
