Re: 2 node cluster !!!!!!!!!
What are you stuck on?
High level:
a) Get your failover lans working first
b) Get your lvm configed.
c) get your cluster configed.
d) get you package running
For a test package use xclock.

Re: 2 node cluster !!!!!!!!!
2. Create the cluster ASCII file
3. Create the package ASCII file
4. Check the cluster and package configuration file using cmcheckconf
5. Apply the configuration using cmapplyconf if everything looks good.
6. Start the cluster and Package.

Re: 2 node cluster !!!!!!!!!
HP ServiceGuard is very picky - you need to be quite careful...Read the docs well, and then let Us know where you get stuck.
One point of advice - at the networking level, make sure that each of the lans you will configure see/connect each other at the Layer2 level (using linkloop command)...
Yes, it would need quite a lot of effort - otherwise it would be term High Available...
Cheers,

Re: 2 node cluster !!!!!!!!!
As mentioned above use the link provided by Michael to get the document for the correct SG version you are planning to install and read it.
It should have all the steps. Any doubts you can get help here.
Also you need a lock disk or a quorum server
for a dual node cluster. This is also clearly explained in the doc.
Cheers
