A.P.A. configuration questions
Can someone help me with the setup of Link Aggregation?
I have got a test license and have installed the SW and some patches. When I use the command lanscan I can see lan0-2 and Linkagg0-4. I want to use the physical interfaces lan1 and lan2 (to act as one interface). When I type: lanqueryconf -s it respond with: No Fail-Over Groups found. ASCII file not created. So I have to setup the configuration, but how? Should I create a FAILOVER_GROUP with one PRIMARY and one STANDBY interface?

Re: A.P.A. configuration questions
Check out How to Modify Default Configurations in
http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/J4250-90009/J4250-90009.html
"By default, HP APA will automatically aggregate all supported ports. You do not normally need to modify the default HP APA configuration. You may want to modify the default HP APA configuration, if for example, you want to restrict certain ports so that they are not aggregated.
HP Auto Port Aggregation uses three configuration files (plus one for LAN Monitor) as follows:
/etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaconf -- This file contains configuration values for link aggregates.
/etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaportconf -- This file contains configuration values for specific physical ports that are supported by HP APA.
/etc/lanmon/lanconfig.ascii
