a third party application
i have installed athird party application on my server rp7420.(with hp-ux11iv1)
i wanna know if i want update hp-ux11v1 to hp-ux11v2 how i can keep this application without losing .
note: is the update lose my third party application.
any body help please.

I would tell you to look at the documentation of the application, by the way whats the name of the application ?.

without more info, difficult to answer.
What is the application and where are it's components installed.
If nothing of the application is installed in the system directories, you should be ok.
First rule of upgrades/patching:
Always ensure you have a valid recovery backup.
