a6795a Fibercard driver and patches

I was wondering if I could use the HP web site to download a single depot that would include BOTH the a6795a driver and its suggested patch PHKL_34161. This way avoiding 2 reboots of the server.

Mike,

You could use the swcopy command to create a depot and then the swinstall command on that depot.

Swcopy into one depot, select both, and install at one time.

OK great. I have created a depot combining the patch and the driver. Thanks guys.

Now I wonder if this is a safe way to proceed. Since both the driver and the patch install updated kernels is there a chance that they will interfere w/ each other when they are preparing the new kernel?
