About the identical disk replacement in HP-UX
Hi All,
There was a root disk failure and we have exchanged the identical disk for the failed one.
The thing is now we could not reduce the old disk path as it is the same as new. Lvmtab also shows the disk path. I donno where we lost the track.
Could you please help me to proceed further.
How to update the /etc/lvmtab and how to reduce the old disk path from vg00.
Thanks!!
Regards,
Sankie

Shalom Sankie,
Locate your most recent make_tape_recovery/make_net_recovery backup, you may need to restore it to get full system functionality.
