I have a PA-RISC system running HP-UX 11i v1, installed from 2006-12 media , and an AD385A PCIX 10G NIC installed into a PCIX 64-bit 133-MHz slot. (The card is specified to work in 64-bit 266/133/66 MHz slots.) I've installed 10GigEthr-00 (ixgee driver) which is supposed to support that card, as well as the earlier AB287A. The card shows up in ioscan as a network card, but the nothing else seems to recognize it. For isntance, it doesn't appear as a network interface in SAM.
The dcoument "HP 10 Gigabit Ethernet SR Fiber Network Interface Card information library" (data and part number unknown) states "Operating system support on AD385A is HP-UX 11i, HP-UX 11i v2 and OpenVMS 8.3."
The document "HP-UX 11i v1 Networking Software - Specifications" states "Ethernet card: [...] AD385A PCI-X 133 MHz 10 GbE SR Fiber (PA-RISC). [...]"
Is there a patch against 10GigEthr-00 for 11i v1 that adds the AD385A support? Or is there some other step I have to take to get the kernel to recognize the card?

Query: AD385A 10G NIC support on HP-UX 11i v1
System recommended content:
1. Ethernet Support Guide (for HP-UX 11i v1, 11i v2)
2. HP Auto Port Aggregation Administrator's Guide for HP-UX 11i v1 and 11i v2 September 2008

Re: Query: AD385A 10G NIC support on HP-UX 11i v1
I appreciate the attempt of "systme recommended content" to help, but unfortuantely it didn't.
However, I finally found the answer myself. While the 10GigEthr-00 and IXGBE-DRV packages on the final release of the 11i v1 install media doesn't support the AD385A, newer 10GigEthr-00 and IXGBE-DRV packages, version B.11.11.0712, are on the application media (presumably not any earlier than from December 2007), whcih sttaes that it does support the AD385A.
