After converting to trusted

Once Turning ON Auditing the following message is mailed to the user (regarding its cron jobs)

Cron: Your job did not contain a valid audit ID.
See your system administrator.

Any explanation?

Re: After converting to trusted

Converting a machine into trusted will give warning message when we missed to convert cron tab settings for auditing.

You have to use tsconvert -p to convert cron tab for auditing. If you do, it will not prompt this warning message.

hth.
Easy to suggest when don't know about the problem!

Re: After converting to trusted

Hi All
Thanks for the quick reply. I would like to find a man page/reference regarding this tsconvert cmmd.
PS. On some systems I do not have this issue on some I do, but I am almost sure that this is related to patching.

Re: After converting to trusted

Thanks again to all of you.

The tsconvert -p should not be used, no man page therefore HP implies that SAM is the proper way of implementing the conversion. The issue that I was concerned with (Your job did not contain a valid audit ID) is PATCH level related (run a search for tsconvert patch tick only).

Convering to trusted manual is at http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/B2355-90121/B2355-90121.html
