ANSI C for HP-UX 9.x

Hi,

I realize that it's pretty late to the party but is there any way that one could obtain ANSI C compiler for HP-UX 9.x? Or at least headers so that GCC could be used?

Is there any way that any reseller could sell a license / codeword?

Can HPUX 9.x header files be obtained anywhere?

Thanks!

Antoni

Re: ANSI C for HP-UX 9.x

Whilst any HP-UX software licenses that are purchased with support entitle the user to downgrades, the downgrades you are entitled to are only for supported versions. I'm pretty sure HP-UX 9.x has been out of support for over 20 years, so I don't think anyone in HPE or our business partner community is going to be able to sell you anything. Whether you can find a friendly person with the software who is willing to donate it though... I personally don't have anything that goes back beyond 11.00 (maybe the odd 10.20 depot here and there as well)

Can you tell us more about what on earth you are trying to do with a system from the jurassic period! Maybe we could suggest some alternate approaches?
