ANSI C Install

I've attempted to install ansi c onto one of our L-2000, 11.0 servers. The errors I get in the swagent.log are:
File "/var/tmp/BAAa27652/catalog/AudioDevKit/AUDIO-PGMAN/configure" does not exist.
The catalog files for product "AudioDevKit,r=B.11.00.01" failed to load.
There are a number of errors referring to "/var/tmp/BAAa27652/catalog/*". These include Auxiliary-Opt, C-ANSI-C, DDE, etc.
What am I missing? Thanks in advance...

Re: ANSI C Install

Is it possible that /var filesystem filled up after the disk space analysis phase was done?
Possibly another process was writing temp files
to the filesystem.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

Re: ANSI C Install

Hi, Clay... I thought of that as well. But, I have almost a Gig of space on /var. I've also uninstalled the 7 filesets that did install. As 35 filesets were affected by the errors, those did not install.
Thanks...

Reply continued:
I reinstalled again this morning. Same results. Same errors and same seven filesets installed while 35 failed.
Thanks again...

Re: ANSI C Install

Ok John. I thought my first response was too easy. I installed ANSI/C and aC++ on some K boxes under 11.0 a few months ago without problems. It is possible you have bad install media?

Re: ANSI C Install

Hmmm... bad media. Excellent point. Will get different cd set and try it.
Thanks...

Re: ANSI C Install

Thanks , Clay... It seems the media was indeed bad. I found another set of cd's. The install is going as expected now. Also, kudo's to Brad Anderson, HP who helped also.
Thanks again...
