Anyone use Lansafe v5 to monitor an HP UPS?
Hi guys, recently we have installed an HP 3000 XR UPS for our HP unix box. It was recommended that we use the Lansafe ups software instead of ups_mond for this UPS. I ran the installation script and it seems to have worked, but it didn't create an entry in the inittab file for automatic startup on boot. We wanted to know if anyone has experience with the software since we need to be able to load the PowerMonitor daemon on startup.
